Healthguru.com, the web`s fastest growing video health website, is hiring. We are looking for the right people for the following positions:
Position 1: Entry to Mid-level PHP (LAMP) Developer / Network Administration
* 1-2 yrs experience programming with PHP5, experience with PHP Frameworks a major plus (Zend Framework, phpCake, etc). Understanding of MVC pattern specifically and design patterns in general.
* Experience with network administration and optimization a major plus.
* BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related subject desired but not required
* Experience with Linux, any flavor, Debian or Ubuntu a plus
* Experience using MySQL and using SQL commands.
* Experience with configuring Web and Database Servers a plus.
* Portfolio of existing web site(s) a plus.
* Experience with Javascript, especially with a Framework (MooTools, Prototype, jQuery)
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
We are looking for a back-end PHP coder, who understands OOP, basic database architectures, is comfortable in a Linux environment and who ideally can help out with Network and Systems Administration (and hopefully show us a thing or two). This is a full-time position in a great work environment with a well-funded and rapidly growing start up. We are committed to getting projects done while at the same time accommodating our different work styles. As such, flex time and telecommuting are both viable options (although we do need to hang out with you a few days a week). This is a full time position.

* Experience with Javascript, especially with a Framework (MooTools, Prototype, jQuery)

* Experience in creating web sites
* Available 2 to 3 days a week
* Experience with CSS
* Experience with HTML
* Other programming knowledge, like PHP or Javascript a plus
* Experience with Photoshop a plus
There is little design work included in this internship; you will be given designs to implement using HTML and CSS. This is a great position for someone who has a thorough basic knowledge of HTML & CSS and is looking to practice and enhance those skills.
